Terms & Conditions

These Terms govern your use of the IGO Academy app, website, online courses and offline programs such as workshops, practical training, internships, farm visits, project guidance and certification programs (“Platform”). IGO Academy is a unit of IGO Group (“IGO Academy”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account, enrolling, making a payment or using the Platform, you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 to register on your own. Users aged 13–18 may use eligible services only with a parent or legal guardian who accepts these Terms on their behalf.

The information you give us must be accurate. We may decline participation where eligibility requirements are not met.

2. Your Account

You register with your name, email, mobile number and password. Your mobile number is verified with an OTP sent by an authorised SMS provider.

Keep your login details and device secure — you are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us at head@igoacademy.in if you suspect unauthorised use.

  • One person may hold only one account unless we authorise otherwise.
  • We may refuse, suspend or close an account we reasonably believe is fraudulent, abusive or in breach of these Terms.

3. Courses, Enquiries & Enrolment

We offer online and recorded courses, live and practical training, agriculture and allied-sector workshops, internships, farm visits, project guidance, entrepreneurship programs and certification programs.

Course details, curriculum, duration, schedules, trainers, locations and practical components may change where reasonably necessary. Submitting an enquiry does not guarantee admission.

Access to a paid course starts only after your payment is verified or your enrolment is confirmed.

4. Pricing, Offers & Payments

Prices are shown in Indian Rupees (₹). Applicable taxes, where relevant, are shown during purchase.

Promotional and time-limited offers are valid only for the period we specify and may be changed or withdrawn.

Payments are processed through authorised partners including Razorpay. We do not receive or store your full card, UPI or bank-account details. The final amount is confirmed at checkout, and a purchase is complete only after payment is verified.

5. Refunds & Cancellations

Unless a specific program states otherwise, fees are non-refundable once online course access has been granted or materials have been accessed. Workshops, internships and other offline programs may have their own cancellation terms.

If you were charged twice, charged incorrectly, or paid successfully but did not receive access, contact head@igoacademy.in within 7 days with your transaction details. See our Refund & Cancellation Policy for full details.

6. Intellectual Property

All course videos, PDFs, notes, assessments, presentations, graphics, logos, curriculum and training materials belong to IGO Academy, IGO Group or their licensors. You receive a limited, personal, non-transferable licence to use the content for your own learning.

You must not copy, record or screen-capture protected content, or republish, sell, distribute, publicly display or share paid course content without written permission, or use our content to build a competing product or service.

7. Assessments & Certificates

Certificates are issued only when you meet the program requirements, which may include attendance, completion, assessments, assignments, practical participation or minimum progress.

Unless stated otherwise, an IGO Academy certificate acknowledges completion of or participation in an IGO Academy program and is not a government-recognised or accredited academic qualification.

8. Practical Training, Workshops & Farm Visits

Follow all reasonable instructions from IGO Academy trainers and authorised staff. In particular: follow safety instructions, use equipment responsibly, follow farm and training-centre rules, respect IGO Academy property, meet attendance requirements, and behave safely and respectfully.

We may restrict participation where conduct creates a safety, security or operational risk.

9. Internships & Project Guidance

We may offer internships, project guidance, practical exposure and industry-oriented learning. Participation does not guarantee employment, placement, salary, funding, investment, government approval or commercial success. Specific programs may have additional eligibility requirements and terms.

10. Agriculture & Entrepreneurship Disclaimer

Our training in agriculture, agribusiness and allied fields is provided for education and skill development. It does not guarantee any particular crop yield, income, profit, business result, employment, return on investment or market outcome.

Actual results depend on climate, location, soil, water, crop selection, inputs, labour, management, market conditions, government policy and other factors. You are responsible for your own decisions and for seeking professional or technical advice where needed.

11. Your Conduct

You must not: use the Platform unlawfully; upload harmful, defamatory, obscene or infringing material; attempt unauthorised access; interfere with Platform operations; circumvent security; share paid course access; impersonate another person; manipulate assessments or certificates; or scrape data using automated means without permission.

12. Content You Submit

When you submit enquiries, reviews, feedback or support requests, you confirm the information is accurate and yours to provide. You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use it where reasonably necessary to operate, improve and promote the Platform, subject to our Privacy Policy.

13. Third-Party Services

The Platform uses third-party providers for hosting, databases, authentication, payments, OTP delivery, notifications and analytics — including Supabase, Razorpay, SMS/OTP providers and Google Firebase. These providers have their own terms and privacy policies.

14. Disclaimers

The Platform and its content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free or completely secure operation.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, IGO Academy and IGO Group will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses arising from use of the Platform or Services.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the Platform will not exceed the amount you actually paid for the specific course or service giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

16. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless IGO Academy and IGO Group from claims, losses, liabilities or reasonable expenses arising from your breach of these Terms or misuse of the Platform or its content.

17. Suspension & Termination

You may stop using the Platform and request account deletion by contacting head@igoacademy.in.

We may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary due to breach of these Terms, fraud, misuse, security risks or legal requirements. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.

18. Changes to the Platform & Terms

We may modify, add, suspend or remove courses, features, schedules, pricing or Platform functionality, and we may update these Terms. We will revise the “Last updated” date and communicate significant changes through the Platform.

19. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable consumer rights and statutory remedies, disputes relating to these Terms or the Platform are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts at Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.

20. General & Contact

If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest continue to apply. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, the Refund & Cancellation Policy and any program-specific terms, form the agreement between you and IGO Academy regarding the Platform.

2. Online Course Refunds

Unless a course states otherwise, fees are non-refundable once course access has been provided or materials have been accessed — including where you change your mind, do not complete the course, do not watch the videos, have scheduling issues, or do not meet certification requirements.

3. Payment Deducted but No Access

If your payment was deducted but course access was not activated, contact head@igoacademy.in within 7 days with your transaction details. We will verify the transaction and process an eligible refund.

4. Duplicate Payment

If you were charged more than once for the same transaction due to a payment or technical error, we will investigate and refund the duplicate amount to your original payment method.

5. Workshops & Offline Programs

Refund and cancellation terms may differ for workshops, college programs, offline and practical training, farm visits, special events and institutional programs. The applicable conditions are communicated before registration where appropriate.

6. Internship Programs

Internship cancellation and refund conditions vary by program. Once an internship has commenced or resources have been provided, fees may become non-refundable.

7. Cancellation by IGO Academy

If we cancel and cannot provide a suitable alternative, an eligible refund may be offered according to that program’s terms.

8. Refund Request Period

For payment errors, duplicate payments or non-receipt of paid access, contact us within 7 days of the transaction date at head@igoacademy.in or +91 8925893318.

9. Refund Processing

11. Course Transfer

Where appropriate, we may allow a transfer to another batch, session or eligible course at our discretion, subject to availability and applicable terms.

Promotional prices and discounts may have separate conditions. Once promotional course access is provided, the promotional fee is generally non-refundable unless otherwise specified.
